Hand Colored Custom Reproduction piece.

Size 24" x 36"

This was a very special piece that was over a year in the making.  A client who loves flyfishing for bonefish requested a bonefish (known as Oʻio in Hawaiian) gyotaku piece.  I put a message out to all of my fishermen friends requesting to print their next Oʻio, but it took months and months of waiting for the fish to bite, failed attempts to connect and forgetful friends to finally be able to even create a raw print from a borrowed fish.  My lucky day happened when 2 of my friends caught 2 bonefish within hours of each other! Peyton was out fishing with his father when he was able to reel in this huge bonefish all by himself.  His fish was the largest between the two, so I created this piece for my client and for Peyton!   This piece was originally created only in black and white.  I hand colored an embellished Black and white reproduction to create this entirely unique piece.

Framed Size: 16” x 20”
